The team enjoyed the usual end of season presentation evening at Bramhall Lane. Leading goal scorer Matt Waterhouse can consider himself unlucky not to win one of the awards finishing second in the managers award and third in the supporters prize. So too can Lawrie Brennan who had there been a most improved award this season would have won it. However no one can argue with the choice of winners.
The Managers award went to Ashley Gayle who, building on several seasons of improvement, has been solid and consistent all season in defence.
Supporters choice was no big surprise. It’s always a pleasure to watch Captain James "Dougie" Douglas give 100% in every game.
Arguably the surprise choice for Players Player but thoroughly well deserved was Ben Popple. Ron as he's known in the team, for doing what it says on the tin, Ben is the ultimate in reliability. Add to that his positional sense, ability in the tackle and support play and its easy to see why his team mates voted him their choice. Now if only we can get him to go up field occasionally and notch a few more goals!!

As the team move to U16’s the management are looking to add a couple of new players to strengthen the squad especially after it was depleted by injuries at the end of the season and will be hoping to welcome new faces to pre season training when it gets underway in June.
