Directions

Our home ground is at Chancet Wood Playing Field, Abbey Brook Drive, Greenhill, Sheffield S8 7UT. There are no changing facilities but we will have a stall selling tea/coffee and snacks. We play in pale blue shirts, pale blue/navy shorts and socks.

Directions from Sheffield City Centre.
Take the A621 Abbeydale Road to its junction with Abbey Lane. At the traffic lights turn left into Abbey Lane, past Beauchief Golf Course on the right, and up to a roundabout. Take the Third exit into Bocking Lane which becomes Greenhill Avenue. Take first left off Greenhill Avenue into Chancet Wood Drive by zebra crossing then first left into Abbey Brook Drive. Follow that to its end, around a roundabout and the ground is on the left.

Directions from M1 Junction 33
Leave the motorway and take the A630 Sheffield Parkway. Leave at the third exit onto the ring road A6102 Prince of Wales Road. At the end of the slip road take the first left turn and follow that road for approx. 4 miles to end of Bochum Parkway (Norton roundabout). Take 2nd exit but in right hand lane to turn right into Greenhill Avenue. 4th right is Chancet Wood Drive then first left into Abbey Brook Drive. Follow that to its end, around a roundabout and the ground is on the left.

IMPORTANT

We have had complaints in the past from owners of property on the road leading up to the ground.

There is a car park next to the ground but it is very small and won't accommodate every car. We respectfully request that cars are not parked on the road leading up to the ground. Players are also requested to refrain from knocking mud off their boots onto the road. Where possible we recommend transport sharing. If there is no room in the car park, please park at the bottom of the road and walk up. Alternatively, park in Morrison's car park on A61, 114-118 Chesterfield Road (S8 7UE) and walk downhill, past outer wall of Petrol station, first left up steep unmarked road, round to the right and straight on uphill approx 50 yards until you reach a footpath on the left, follow path to grassy bank which leads to the pitch (less than 5mins walk from Morrison's car park). This is the best option for easy parking.

One final point (from Sheffield Council Parks and Countryside), players are asked not to relieve themselves against fences and bushes at the back of residential properties! Please use the woods instead.
